This is a different line, we have lines inside for regular lunch. These lines that are outside are for separate food, spicy Mexican food.

I think you have identified several problem areas with the space called a cafeteria on our campus. I am looking forward to viewing how you will tackle thses problems in a "green" way.

I wonder if you have considered seating as a way to better use space? Have you looked at other cafeterias that use roll up windows as a way to combine indoor and outdoor spaces? Look at Vista Del Lago in Folsom.

Yes it is very spacious and bright, thats my favorite part of this building! This type of design is our insparation for the new cafeteria!

this may be a stupid question, but is the cafeteria a completely independent building? do you have to go outside to access it?

are the cafeteria lines accessed from the inside and out? when is this used?

it does seem like really inefficient use of the space, but it is really bright and spacious - not a bad place to start!

I like the ideas of livening up the space with student art work and projects. I also like the idea of involving the surrounding community in evening functions. how can the architecture/building make this space more accessible and open to the public? simplifying the way the lunch lines are laid out and function will also be an interesting challenge.
