The Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) created DiscoverDesign.org as an online platform where students and teachers come together to design solutions for real-world challenges.
Originally created as curriculum intended to teach students about the architecture, construction, engineering, and design of school buildings, DiscoverDesign has evolved as a forum for students, teachers, and mentors to collaboratively engage in solving real-world design challenges through the design process. Students are encouraged to create and curate media in each design challenge to inform design decisions and receive feedback from an online community of other students, teachers, and design professionals.
