Welcome! DiscoverDesign is an educational tool for high school classrooms and independent student users to learn more about the design and construction of school buildings. It also provides a forum where students can post their own design projects and receive feedback from an online community of other students, teachers, and design professionals.

You can try out design projects and lessons on this website without registering or providing any personal information. But if you want to upload your own projects to the website, or add comments or tags to projects, you must be over the age of 13. To do this you will also need to register for an account on the website.

Do not use your full name or your email in your username. When choosing a username, keep in mind that it will be seen by your teacher as well as architects and designers across the country. We strongly encourage you to chose a username that is both professional and speaks well of your creative work. We will review all new accounts and may remove any username at our sole discretion.

Email address A valid email address. All emails from the system will be sent to this address. The email address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by email. Username Several special characters are allowed, including space, period (.), hyphen (-), apostrophe ('), underscore (_), and the @ sign.
